In saline environments, the rain water and the damp air, may bring with them dissolved salts, that chemically attacks the ceramic material.
If the cover is not well ventilated, the accumulation of these salts in its interior may cause a slow degradation.
For this reason, the necessary precautions should be taken regarding "micro ventilation" under roof tile ventilation in order to prevent that the roof tile reaches the water saturation point to dry properly, in this way the current installation standards are accomplished.
